Dewan Martin serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Ability Matters, a company dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. With over two decades of experience in the field, Dewan began his journey as a direct support professional, gaining firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of working with individuals with disabilities. Over the past four years, he has led a crisis intervention program aimed at assisting young people in crisis and those with severe behavioral challenges, with a focus on keeping them in their homes rather than placing them in facilities. His leadership, guided by Dr. Kristyn Butler, has been instrumental in establishing Ability Matters Central in Columbus, a center committed to serving the local community.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Dewan enjoys spending time on the golf course and engaging in artistic pursuits. He also values quality time with his family, including his wife, Unique Martin BSNRN, and their two daughters, Destiny and Harlem. Destiny is currently a freshman at Ohio University, while Harlem is navigating her senior year at Pickerington Central High School.
