Enrichment Through Education
Our customized and individualized educational options for students with disabilities give those with autistic and neurological disabilities a place in the classroom that is safe and supportive. Our tailored educational programs provide students with autism and neurological disabilities a safe and supportive place in the classroom, ensuring personalized learning opportunities for their unique needs.
Our licensed teachers and aides provide services through the Ohio Autism Scholarship Program, contracts with area school districts and other public funding sources. We support students ages 3 – 21 and align our community-based education with each student’s IEP goals. Our licensed teachers and administrators collaborate with school districts and families to deliver a unique educational program tailored to each student that focuses on growth and learning.
We are transforming education for the autistic community in the following areas:
- School Support – Ability Matters staff are trained in positive behavior strategies to support learning and curriculum implementation in a school environment.
- Community-Based Education & Transition Services – The Ability Matters team provides opportunities for students to engage educational opportunities in the community including vocational training, volunteering and job-skills development.
- Home Support – Ability Matters works to increase student success by providing whole-family support including focusing on appropriate behaviors and daily living skills in the home setting.
We can’t wait to watch your loved one thrive in the classroom! Find out more about our other services and contact us for more information.
