Charles Martin
Assistant Director of Intervention
Charles is a devoted family man and a passionate follower of God, embodying the true spirit of a servant leader. His dedication to the mission and his commitment to the community are at the core of his work at Ability Matters, where he serves as the Assistant Director of Intervention. Charles comes with 20 years of experience in Intervention Work, and Crisis Management expertise. Previously, Charles played a pivotal role as the Intervention Program Manager for the nationally recognized “I Am My Brother’s Keeper Initiative,” which was part of the call to action from former President Barack Obama.
Throughout his career, Charles has been a mentor, friend and father figure to nearly 200 male youth in Columbus, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. His unwavering passion for community service and his deep faith are evident in all that he does. Outside of his professional responsibilities, Charles enjoys reading and cherishing quality time with his family. Charles is a father of four, and is the proud husband of Natalie Martin.
