 Ohio Statehouse Tours and Grounds

Guided tours are available every day, except on state holidays.  Walk-in tours start on the hour, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays in the Map Room, and on the hour, 12 to 3 p.m. on weekends. Please note that while the Ohio Statehouse is open to the public on the weekends, the House and Senate Chambers are kept locked, and are only available to be viewed during guided tours.

 German Village

Located just south of downtown Columbus, German Village is one of the most atmospheric neighborhoods in the Midwest. Originally built by German settlers in the mid-1800s, the lovingly restored brick houses, shops, streets and sidewalks are full of historic charm and modern swank. Once you get there with a short walk or drive from downtown, you’ll want to explore the neighborhood on foot. German Village has ample food options, both German and otherwise.

COSI is a nationally esteemed science center that has delighted Central Ohio with all things science for 55 years, inspiring interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) topics and delivering our experiential, "hands-on fun" brand of learning. As a trusted educational resource for families, schools, and community partners, COSI is an essential element of our community, engaging more than one million people annually through onsite, offsite, and online experiences.  COSI - like science - is for everybody: all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Across our 320,000 square foot facility, we bring science to life through 300+ interactive experiences, nine galleries featuring world class traveling and permanent exhibitions, explosive live shows and a Planetarium.  (Families who currently participate in WIC, Ohio Directions, or Ohio Medicaid can buy a membership for $51.25 annually.)
