Dr. Yu-Ling Chen earned her Ph.D. in Special Education with a focus on Applied Behavior Analysis and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst–Doctoral (BCBA-D). She currently serves as the Director of Applied Behavior Analysis Services and Intervention Specialist at Ability Matters in Ohio.

Originally from Taiwan, Dr. Chen brings a deep cultural understanding to her work. She is a multilingual provider fluent in Mandarin Chinese (中文/普通話）, Hakka（客語）, Hokkien（福建話/台語）, and English, and is able to support families from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds with greater connection and understanding.

She believes in strong collaboration with families and values creating a supportive and respectful environment where both children and caregivers feel understood and empowered. Dr. Chen is committed to making high-quality ABA services accessible and meaningful for every family she works with.
